Peugeot 304 S Cabrio

Peugeot 304 S Cabriolet (09/04/1973)
A wonderful find with a story to tell
Some cars possess that little something extra, a touch of magic. This Peugeot 304 S Cabriolet, number 13,070 of just 18,647 examples produced, was rediscovered in the summer of 2018 in Mol, Belgium, hidden away in a shipping container at the back of a garden.
The story of this car began in 1973, when its first owner, Jacqueline, purchased it new and drove it with great affection until 1984. Having later narrowly escaped a fire without suffering any significant damage, the car disappeared inside the container for several decades. Rediscovered as part of a package deal that included two other 304s, this original example, retaining its matching numbers, was preserved for a full restoration to its former glory.
